What We Believe
We are committed to a Christ centered endeavor that is focused on Biblical truth, exaltation of Jesus Christ and His work, and Spirit renewed living.
We believe that all core doctrines of Christianity are contained within the Apostles' Creed:
I believe in God the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
Trinity
We believe in the One living and true God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Tri-une God is completely satisfied within His loving, glorifying, and holy character. Out of His overflowing love, He chose to create all things. He knows all things, sees all things, and is sovereign over everything, seen and unseen.
Scriptures
We believe the Bible to be divinely inspired, fully trustworthy, and wholly authoritative. It is our final authority for faith and practice. It is ...God breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness...
Humanity
We believe that human beings are made in God's image, thus all possess value and dignity. All people are separated from God because they have willingly sinned against Him, and are now justly under His holy wrath.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus was fully God and fully man, that He willingly came, lived a sinless life, took the punishment of sin by dying on the cross, bodily rose from the dead after three days, and ascended to heaven where He currently sits at the right hand of the Father.
Justification of Sinners
We believe in justification by God's grace, through faith, for all who repent of their sinful ways and put their full trust in the Person and work of Jesus Christ alone.
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Father and Son sent the Holy Spirit to indwell and transform all believers into new life. He awakens and transforms believers by calling them to repentance, faith, and a road of ongoing sanctification. He is the deposit of new life and the secured hope in Jesus Christ.
Church
We believe in the one body of all believers under the headship of Jesus Christ, constituting the present but not fully realized Kingdom of God. This body is manifested by the proclamation of the Gospel, Spirit changed lives, renewed minds, and godly living.
Return of Christ
We believe in the future personal return of Jesus Christ, the consummation of His kingdom, and that He will make all things new. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust. With justice, grace, and mercy, He will give the unrepentant over to eternal punishment in hell and receive the redeemed of Christ into eternal life in the new heaven and new earth.
Sanctity of Human Life
We believe that all human life is sacred, because God has created all people in His image. Life, from conception until natural death, is to be defended as sacred. Abortion and assisted suicide are opposed to God's Word and His design for human flourishing.
Sanctity of Marriage, Sexuality, and Gender
We believe that God has created humanity as male and female, and that He created and ordained marriage as a sacred covenant exclusively between one man and one woman. A man and a woman shall join and become one flesh.
